Bridger Beef is a division of DiLuigi Foods, which has been a foods processor since 1950. DiLuigi Foods has always been known for their quality, innovation and creativity and that theme has been carried forward to our Bridger Beef products. Bridger Beef offers five varieties of frozen burgers and five varieties of franks, all value added.
Our goal at Bridger Beef was to redefine premium in the frozen burger market; we believe that we have accomplished that goal. Bridger combines proven taste profiles; the highest quality packaging; a gourmet/homestyle burger and some of the safest product available in the industry today.
THE BURGERS ARE DIFFERENTIATED BY THEIR GREAT TASTE, TWO CELL VACUUM PACKAGING, CAREFUL PROCESSING, QUALITY SEASONING, AND WHOLE MUSCLE INGREDIENTS.
First and foremost, a food product must taste good and these products have truly great taste. The Bridger flavored burgers, such as Bacon Cheddar and Swiss Cheese and Portabella Mushroom, have been well known products on grocery shelves as fresh products for many years under the DiLuigi label. DiLuigi Foods is the largest processor of fresh flavored gourmet style burgers in the eastern United States. These very successful products are now being offered under the Bridger label for year round enjoyment by the consumer as a frozen product.
Bridger burgers are packages of six burgers to a two pound box, 5.3 ounces for each burger; the industry standard sizing. But, that's where the commonality ends. Bridger vacuum packages three burgers per cell after IQF freezing the product in a process developed by DiLuigi Foods to provide freshness and an appealing meat color for the life of the product. Please feel free to compare our packaging to the leading burger makers, and see the difference for yourself. Our marketing tests have proven that people seeing the product believe Bridger Burgers are a higher quality than the leading brand before ever eating the product, based simply on the packaging and product color.
Bridger produces gourmet style burgers that, when grilled, look homemade. These burgers are not made with a form that produces a perfectly round burger or something that looks like a cloud with sharp edges, often seen in competitive products. Bridger has carefully developed a process to make a frozen burger with not just an exceptional taste, but an exceptional bite as well. Bridger is not the first to make a frozen burger; we just took our time and did it right.
Although we can't prove it, we believe Bridger to be the only gourmet style burger on the market today made from whole muscle beef, that is to say, we do not purchase trim for our burgers. This means that the consumer gets an exceptional meat product, period. There is no guessing where the meat comes from. As a result, you will often find Bridger employees taking our Bridger Burgers home to feed their families; although anecdotal, it is good evidence that Bridger Burgers are a truly great product. In addition to the premium quality provided by the whole muscle meat and quality ingredients, using whole muscle allows Bridger to put their meat through an antimicrobial wash before processing. This process, known as Intervention, provides a high level of microbial safety.
Our goal at Bridger Beef was to redefine Premium in the frozen burger market; we believe that we have accomplished that goal. Bridger combines proven taste profiles; the highest quality packaging; a gourmet/home style burger and some of the safest product available in the industry today.
The Bridger Beef product line is a premium line of, primarily, beef products. The quality box graphics are intended to portray western imagery, which is consistent with cattle and cattle ranching. The Bridger name is derived from Jim Bridger, who was among the foremost mountain men, scouts and guides who explored the Western United States during the decades of 1820-1850.
